Achievements of Government

  • Formation and establishment of State Government institutions.
  • Promoting home grown community dialogue for peaceful resolution of conflicts, reconciliation, healing and peace building.
  • Conducted joint cross-border meetings with Uganda Local Government Districts of Koboko, Moyo and Yumbe.
  • Purchase of Road Construction Equipments.
  • Purchase vehicles to facilitate movement of State Officials.
  • Purchase of 3 Ambulances distributed to Counties of Terekeka, Morobo & Juba.
  • Restructured and harmonized Local Government Institutions in the State.
  • Established the State Constitution Review Committee.
  • Continue to engage with cattle herders to return to their places of origin and avoid violence.
  • Organized and continue to strengthen police patrols to combat urban and road attacks and robberies.
  • Unified and redeployed State Employees from the three (3) Defunct States.
  • Formulated and approved Policy Framework for the State Ministry of Peace Building.
  • Reviewed and operationalized Yei Electricity Utility and backed up solar power to increase urban water yield in Yei Town.
  • Funded the second CES Youth Union Convention.
  • Renovated St. Charles Lwanga Primary School in Morobo.

Governance Cluster

  1. South Sudan safety Net (SSNP)
  2. Project for Rehabilitation and Promotion of Agriculture for food security and livelihood JICA project
  3. Agricultural markets and value addition and trade development (AMVAT) for selected farmers for duration of five years.
  4. Smallholder Horticulture empowerment promotion (SHEP) project.
  5. Juba city clean project by JICA is pipeline 2022.
  6. Central Tree Nursery establishment, infrastructure improvement and management by JICA in Juba.
  7. Capacity Building for nursery Staff by JICA.
  8. Tree Nursery Establishment at ARU.
  9. 2020/2021 Crop seeds and agriculture tools distribution project.
  10. Renovation of Offices in the ministry.
  1. Retain all property that have being looted away from the right ownership of the ministry most especially the incident of the JIT company the ministry managed to gain back the lease agreement.
  2. Evacuate people away from the ministry house in order to pave way for revenues to return to the ministry
  3. Mobilize the cooperatives that are within juba county and in other counties and the ministry managed to recognize 120 cooperative societies which are active.
